Re: Oil Pan Gasket replacement
First be totally sure it is the oil pan.....due to the head gaskets/valley pan drain and turbo leaks it could be coming from the top of the engine.
At first glance the IDI pan R&R is the same as the TD but the turbo must be removed.
If you can see where the leak is coming from, clean the area well, dig out any loose sealant, then apply a gasket sealant (Top quality)to a very clean area covering the hole. This has on occasion worked very well to seal small leaks.
