OK I feel guilty but.....

Since diesel prices are now pretty close to my mortgage payment, my dually sits most of the time. I've been getting this problem when I go to start it up it runs like a champ for about 20 seconds then dies. After cranking and cranking it finally fires, runs like crap then levels out. Any help appreciated...

Is your tank full, does it leak fuel any where? I'm thinking theres air in the fuel system. And don't fell guilty, my truck sits in the drive due to high diesel.

Me too

My truck (sig) also sits and stares at me every morning when I go to work. If it sits for a day or so it does what yours does. I did drive it the other day and on a whim I opened the hood and found fuel dripping from the water drain on the bottom of the filter. I believe it is letting air into the system. I just replaced all the return lines two months ago and replaced the GP's with wellmans three weeks ago (took out the autolites)
