i am in need of some camber adjustment on my front end. The outside edges are wearing faster than the rest of the tire. This is a 2wd rig, so taking it to a shop is an arm and a leg. The coil springs are a lil saggy, but got new ones on the way, any suggestions on how to correct the camber?
TIA

Don't understand why it's an arm and a leg, $29 gets an alignment here plus the adjusters at about $40 each and install at $20 each.
I know of no shadetree mechanics with the special electronic equipment to do alignment correctly.

If I remember correctly I paid a smidgen over 200 clams to have alignment set at Ford Dealer Ship last time around, but it's a darn sight cheaper than new tires everytime you turn around. E was doing the same thing chewing up tires on outtar edge, they said that they have to replace the shims and it was quite the expense but then again it was at the dealer ship - but when done you could let go of wheel... Had her in to three shops locally that just couldn't or wouldn't do her because of her size. CC Long bed duallies are hard to get handled in Fort Wayne...

Will Work For Diesel Fuel.
I'm with Travis on this one. My front end tires were wearing badly on the outer edges. It still tracked straight and true enough, but the outer edge wear was excessive. Luckily, I knew the problem from my other truck, and I know the shop able to deal with it. They do alot of larger trucks and motorhomes.
They did an allignment, and replaced the beveled washer-like things on the front end. I can't remember their name, the beveled things. I had this done just after I put on new Michelin XPS Ribs, so it was done to fit and match both the truck and the tires. This worked like a charm. What little wear I've had so far seems even.

Gandalf is my truck. Gandalf is named after Gandalf in "The Lord of the Rings". He is the Wizard with mystical powers.
Put your springs on, then run it for 200-300 miles, then get it alligned at a shop that can do it and knows what there doing.
