Re: PARTS PARTS i need PARTS

Other than a module and an exhaust system, there are no performance parts. They are all custom made of home brewed. Actually that is not entirely true. There are nitrous injection kits and propane kits. Look at some of the advertisers and see what you can dig up.

Re: PARTS PARTS i need PARTS

You can get the ATS upgrade kit, for the turbo, gives you a larger DP and larger exhaust housing for your turbo, then you can go with a DPSperformance.com IP and Injectors. Those would really make your truck sing, then you can add propane, an intercooler and even H20 Injection. Those are the main things that can be added to give you some extra umph.. If you want more power, get yourself an EGT guage, and turn up your fuel. That will get you some more power for the time being. Let us know what you are looking for and we will direct you to what you want. Scotty

Re: PARTS PARTS i need PARTS

To adjust the boost you have to adjust the wastegate rod either in or out. But before you go messing with that I would suggest opening up the exhaust first. We must let the engines breath or otherwise by cramming more air down it's throat is really gonna do you no good. So as Scotty mentioned getting the upgraded ATS turbine housing and downpipe will allow you the room to start turning up the power. Then comes the pyro after that you can start adding fuel to the mix. Just opening up the exhaust you will notice a little more umph in her step.

Re: PARTS PARTS i need PARTS

2 things first.

first-Straight pipe! They are not loud with straights.Sounds like a big block with flowmasters.
second-intake.Either ditch the factory air box and make a custom open air intake which will require some fabing since you have to move the fuel filter housing.Or you could just dump that snorkle and run a "Ram air hose" to it.

after you get it inhaling and exhaling good then you can work on the other parts.

Boost-Remove the waste gate actuator(e-clip on rod end and 2 bolts behind turbo).Drill the 2 dimples out on the end of the rod and screw the connector in to shorten it.I would suggest a boost gauge for this since you want to keep it at 10-12PSI max.Anything more is waste without an intercooler

Fuel-DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO THIS WITHOUT A PYROMETER!After you install the Pyro(probe installed as close to the head as possible.Remove the manifold if you can and drill and tap there or just remove the cross over pipe and weld the bung in as close to the connector as possible on the drivers side),Open the side of the injection pump(triangular plate on passenger side).Use rags under it since a lot of fuel will come out.use a mirror and turn the engine over until you see the allen head screw(5/32nd I think).Turn it(which way guys?Having a brain fart due to sleep deprivation right now) till it bottoms out then back out a quarter turn(will be very hard to turn since it is spring loaded).Watch the pyro and enjoy.1100Degrees max at the manifold,1200 in short burst(1-2 sec max)is ok.

If that ain't enough.

ATS upgrades,Intake side,Exhaust side, elbow, and 3" down pipe.Gives you better boost and more air flow.

If that still ain't enough(god your sick!I like it!)

Propane injection
Water injection(liquid intercooler)

Still not enough?!?!?

contact Ken at DPS and get the hookup on his pumps and injectors.

Want even more.....Ken!Help this feller out with the special Enterprise kit!
