performance IP and injectors

My IP crapped out so it's time for a new one and of course more power if possible. I have A banks turbo & exhaust, was curious about a performance injection pump and injectors..where to get them , what do you guys recommned? If it's a lot of cash for not much more power, I'll put stock stuff back on it, sell the truck and move on to a newer Cummins...any help? thanks in advance.

Re: performance IP and injectors

What, are you threatening us so we sell you cheap performance upgrades? I believe Landyatch is the one that knows the most on these here forums about your question.

Try Ken,
http://www.dps-performance.com/
If you want to sell it, try here first (many people always looking for another IDI).

Thanks for the info. Does anyone else offer a performance pump and injectors? I need to get this thing going ASAP and I've left this guy several messages and can't seem to get a call back. I'm ready to buy today, just can't get in touch with him..anyone else?

Unfortunately, This guy takes forever to return phone calls. They say just keep calling and eventually he will phone you back.

Well , I wish that wasn't the case, I really need this stuff ASAP. So it looks like I'll just go the stock route to get it back on the road.Guess he's busy enough to not care about losing sales...oh well we both lose I guess..Thanks for the help guys.

Re: performance IP and injectors

Ken's IP and Injectors are top rate stuff. If you are looking for more power, he is the man for the job. I was one of the first to use his IP and Injectors on TDS, and man, they made a HUGE difference. If you can wait, wait, trust me, it is well worth it. Ken knows how to make power out of the IDI's. Re: performance IP and injectors

Yeah hes a great guy... just a little busy around the shop. Its easy to imagine why though, as he is the only person to offer a wide variety of performance parts for IDI's...

[/ QUOTE ]I noticed you have Kens injectors and his turbo calibration pump. How noticeable is the power increase? Do you get any different gas mileage? Any info on it would be good. Thanks

Re: performance IP and injectors

I noticed a huge difference in power. With the old pump, I could hit about 11-12psi but my EGT's were through the roof. Now, with Kens IP, I can bounce my guage past the 15psi mark and still have very managable EGT's. Ken tweaked the TQ curve a little with the pump, and I have yet to break 1100 with the new pump. The truck really moves out with it. I would reccomend it to anyone with a turbo. If you do not havea turbo, you will just have a bunch of wasted fuel. Scotty
