Trying to replace front left hub bearings in 1989 f-250 4x4 diesel. Ford service is lost on older models, I have put new bearings in hub, slid onto splined shaft, but confused about the nut and washers that hold hub on the shaft. Can anybody give info and or pics. Ford parts department have listed nut with washers as D2TZ1198A. But their parts breakdown doesnt show pics, only diagram and they are not sure?

In my manual, the 1198 shows as "manual hub kit". The adjusting nut is 1195, for what that is worth. After the bearing, is the inner locknut that has a little pin on it's face. That threads on and gets torqued to 50 lb. ft. Then back the inner locknut off 90 degrees. Next, is the lockwasher that has about 16 holes and it fits onto that little pin on the inner locknut. Next, is the outter locknut. It threads on and gets torqued to 160-205 lb.ft. Hope this helps, Tim
