PLEASE HELP/ hard start

89' F-350. Changed fuel lines and installed new glow plugs but still very hard to start when it is cold. After starting it and running it for a while it starts as easy as pie. What gives?
Please help.

Glowie controller good? You should get lots of clickings after the glowplugs have been lit. The injector pump could be goin south too. Once it gets hot, worn parts and expansion cause it to loose pressure.

Changed fuel lines
Did you replace the return lines.........if so you may be suffering from air in the system.

I had this issue. Find out my starter was weak. Just couldn't spin the cold motor fast enough. May check your batteries too.
