89' F-350. Changed fuel lines and installed new glow plugs but still very hard to start when it is cold. After starting it and running it for a while it starts as easy as pie. What gives?
Please help.
Glowie controller good? You should get lots of clickings after the glowplugs have been lit. The injector pump could be goin south too. Once it gets hot, worn parts and expansion cause it to loose pressure.
Not sure how to test the controller. I have been wrenching on my own stuff for a number of years but never on a diesel. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.
Did you replace the return lines.........if so you may be suffering from air in the system.
