Power steering and fuel lines

I should have made better note when I ripped everything apart, this is what happens when you have too many people helping you. On the steering box, which line is pressurized and which one is the return? Also the same for the fuel splitter valve on the frame, which one is suction and which is return? Thanks

The outlet port (return) is closest the steering column/input shaft. The inlet (pressure) is closest the four bolts where the valve housing joins the box.

The high pressure side of the steering pump will be hard line and the fitting will be flaired or o-ringed. The return lines are just hose clamps so its easy to tell which is which. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif[/img]

Thanks. If I had the ford lines still on there it would be easy to hook back up. Im fabbing in a Cummins so I dont have anything to go by.

Everyone above is correct, but if you ever have a doubt, put some fluid in the reservoir and turn the pump by hand in the direction of engine rotation.
