Whoa!I would stay clear of Jasper.Several have had bad experiances with their IDI rebuilds.EZ will chime in on his.Plus,if you have a problem they like to twiddle their thumbs till the warrantee is up then your stuck with the thing.DAS get constant thumbs up.They are expensive but they don't skimp. I am one who will pipe up. Call DAS! I love mine. I spent about $6000 for a complete drop in unit. They are in Canada so the exchange rate changes the prices. And that was a few years, and many many miles ago with no issues.

why get rid of it just because it has 230k? i have a 93' non turbo with 207k and i expect to get a half million miles or even more before i rebuild but i am seriously considering swapping it for a powerstroke engine
230K? I have 260K on two different 7.3's in E350 vans. No problems with either one.
Remember, these are Medium Duty International truck engines, not the car engines that Ford used as truck gassers (302, 351, 460). Now the 300 I6, that was a purpose built truck motor.

if you are going to install a crate motor, i would really recomend a Reviva mmotor. they were building them for International for years and were marked as Dealers Deisel. i have been installing them for years without one issue. well maybe one, still have no idea why i have low oil pressure on my 7.3l with 130k miles. they are a good motor with an excellent warranty.
day late and a dollar short mike.
I just sold mine for $1,200.
only had 156,000miles on it, alotta new stuff. was an '88 F150 with a c6.
Great truck. I never touched the engine... never even took the valve covers off it (talk about low mantainance)
