Well, I buttoned it up today and filled my tank and drove the old girl back home. I can't really comment on the added power yet, but I know it is more. I have a large hill, but only a mile long. I am not sure of the grade, but I ran it the first time with cruise set at 50 with no propane on, had to kick it down to 3rd gear direct to maintain speed, now, ran the same hill, the same way with the propane on and it hit the hill and pulled it the entire way not losing any speed at all in 3rd OD. So far it seems good, install was about as clean as you want. I really like the Powershot system, nice and easy, one wire hook up and off you go. Seems really safe too, as soon as you turn the key off, the system powers off, and you manually have to turn it back on when you reapply power. Anyhow, hopefully I will get it on the dyno next weekend. Scotty

If you guys can get your hands on a PS2000 for 529.00, that is a steal. I paid 600.00 (didn't have to pay shipping though) for my set up and that was with the military discount Keith at PowerShot gave me. I think they are regulary 650.00. I forked over the extra 300 and got the 10 gallon tank, that is pretty much already rigged. Install was very easy. It probably would have taken about 2-3 hours had I been able to work on it with no interuptions. Overall, it is a very nice kit and so far it seems to work very well. I think the real test is going to be when I can hook up the Jeep and a trailer and see how it handles that. Right now mine is set up for towing, it starts pushing pane at about 5PSI and continues all the way up through the boost range. Now, it is not going to throw you through the seat, it is similar to the way a turbo is smooth all the way, the pane acts the same way. Now, if you turn it off and get into a hill and have your boost up, and then click the switch, YOU CAN feel it. IT will hit hard and really start pushing.
I will try and get some kind of test area to run it to get some times for you guys, but I think the real test will probably be the dyno. Hopefully, I will be able to get it on and post some numbers for you guys. I honestly think if you already have a turbo and want that little extra that you think your truck is lacking, propane is probably the answer. I have did pretty much everything to mine, turbo IP, Injectors, turbo, GV's and now the propane, and I have to say I am pretty happy. I really can't wait to load her down and see how it runs. I am 99% sure it is going to be pleasing. I am going to drive with it on for the meantime, just to get an idea of how long the tank lasts with average driving. Anyhow, if you all have any more questions please shoot them to me. Scotty
That's great man. Glad to hear you got it on and working. Can't wait for the dyno numbers. How are your EGT's with the LP on vs. off? Sounds like another mod to put on my "things to do in the future" list.

EGT's have remained about the same, maybe 50* lower while cruising, and a little more while moving up hills, just because the engine doesn't need to work as hard while moving up hills.
I mounted the tank right next to my GearVendors and inside the drivers side frame rail. I had to drill one hole up through the cab pan and mounted the other end of the tank on a cross member. It is a very nice mount and DOES not sit any lower than my trasfer case. So overall it looks pretty clean. Scotty
Heheheh. That's pretty nice... Would definitely light up the ricer crowd.
I can't see putting nitrous on a diesel. I always thought nitrous was way overkill. Heck, it can make an 18 second ricemobile run 13s, maybe, but I just think the risk is too great when you're driving a $40,000 truck...

Towing a load... with propane and an intercooler. Not bad. My EGTs were way up a couple times pulling the car out here to California... wish I'd had an IC to keep things cooler.
