rattle on start up

ive seen people ask if your truck rattles loud on start up. what causes that? mine does it after it sits for a week or so. i figured that i had an o-ring leak up near the injectors or something. its wierd though...it only rattles once in a while. sometimes it will die after a few seconds and i have to crank it a while to get it to start. so fuel is leaking back or im getting air in the lines somewhere. One is a result of the other, when air enters the fuel system, the fuel will drain off....... Depending where the leak is may make a difference in how fast....

Visit......... http://www.intellidog.com/dieselmann/idi.htm and check out air leak points on the filter, you probably already know about the injector return cap orings.

OHV = Off Highway Vehicle

im a dirtbike rider and very involved with keeping our public lands open to the public. there are many groups that think only hikers should be allowed to enjoy back country trails. I disagree
