Rebuild questions

Thinking of the rebuild. Where do I get a good kit? Sleeves and all.
DAS? What else should I do when I have the engine pulled?
Thanks

Re: Rebuild questions

DAS has about the best rep. on this site. Paul is the man on the West coast side of this country to talk with. Wilsons Machine shop in Chino Ca. comes very highly recomended too. They can and will do anything you want. High proformance machining is what they do. Don't think DAS is autolite because one motor went bad at 50,000 miles. Thats like saying all people of that color or releigon are bad. Make an informed choice because YOU want to. Not because thats the way everybody is going. Remember the lemings? I listen, compile facts, then verify this information and act on it the way I want. Not because I found one problem with something. I also drive a Chevy big block standard can and love it just like my Ford diesel.

Re: Rebuild questions

oriented, So hopefully the 7.3 wont spook them and send me searching.
Chino is not too far away and a good referral is a nice bonus.
