Got my custom badges in the mail today. I am very pleased...hope my wife likes them. Customer service at Billet Badges is outstanding. I emailed Steve Smart at BB Friday night explaining my decision to get them for my wife for her birthday. He promptly answered my email and assured me he would make them a priority and I would have them by tomorrow (Thursday). Got them today (Wednesday) and man are they nice. Heath Sutton has some good pictures of his new badges on his project truck as well. Mine are similar.

Pictures. I knew that would come up! I don't have any pictures of either of the trucks yet. Gotta figure out how to use my wife's digital camera and load them on the computer. That's one of my projects to complete since I have the whole summer off. I start sabattical in two weeks.
Oh ya, by-the-way. My wife loved her birthday present. She didn't cry like when I bought her the truck, but she got all teary eyed.

She's a keeper then... Gotta love a woman that loves big trucks. As they say across the street in the hood "you go boy".

As far as posting pictures...by the way...YOU MUST DO IT OR FACE A BEATING!!!! I'll give instructions for both digital and regular pictures for those who don't have a digital camera...
Well, if they are on a digital camera, it is pretty simple.
1. Load the photos onto the computer. The camera should have come with a program to load and view pictures.
2. Click on the Photos section of thedieselstop and click on the "logon" button.
3. The username and password is the same as your name and password for the site.
4. Then Click on Upload photos.
5. Click the browse button and use it to find the picture you want to load onto the site.
6. Once you get the picture, type in a title and a discription.
7. Click submit and you've loaded a picture.
8. Repeat until you run out of photos or space on the server.
If you have regular photos, you have to get them digital and on the computer first. If you have a scanner, just scan them in. If you don't have a scanner, you can take the photos to a photo shop and they can make them digital for you. Then you have your pictures on a disk and can use them on the web. Once you get the photos on your computer, the process is the same.
To post them in a link.....Just open the picture. Once it's open, copy the web address. When you are ready to post the link, just click the "URL" button next to the smiley faces at the bottom. A box will pop up and you past the address in the box and click OK. Then type in the text you want for the link in the next box that pops up and you've got your link.
Clear as mud right? Just play around with it and I think you'll figure it out.
