Removing engine/trans...
Alright, so I found a place in my city that will sandblast the frame of my truck for $100. The only downside... I have to remove everything, and deliver to them only the frame. So, I have to remove the cab, the front end, the axles, the engine, and the transmission. Any tips on removing them? In what order should I go? (on the engine/trans, I know how to remove everything else.) Also, I will be storing the engine, and transmission in my garage for about 2 weeks before everything goes back together, so should I do anything before I pull it apart?
Also, just as an update to my project truck, when I pull the engine, that's when I will be putting on the headers, the 4" exhaust that bend into stacks, the pyrometer, and the custom dash for all the modules. I'll post pictures as I go, so keep checking the website in my signature.
