return fuel line caps

I'm replacing my injectors and return fuel line caps, o rings, and hose's. On the front injector, right side of engine there is an extra something on top of the injector/return fuel cap. I can not find this in any manual and it was not included in the kit.
Can anyone tell me (please) what this is, should it be replaced ?.....thanks for the help, CD

Re: return fuel line caps

'Bender,

It is the 'adapter' to connect a pulse type timing light, no need to replace. Just hold it with one wrench while you remove the injector line then remove the adapter to get at the return line cap. Re-install in reverse order. When installing the o-rings be sure to install the top one first, then the lower one and use rubber grease or something similar to lube them up before you install the caps.
