When my truck starts up it has a really rough idle.the tach will jump around and it will shake the truck but when you give it alittle gas it will go away untill the next stop light and come to a stop it will do it again.It will do it both when the truck is hot and cold.please help. thanks!
try pouring two bottles of fuel additive, such as Power Serve or Stanadyne into each tank. That may help or cure your problem. Try that, then see if it works. If not, you may have a lift pump, or injection pump problem. Do you have any fuel leaks?
What is the curb idle set at, I believe you have an auto trans.
Auto trans 650+/- 25 in gear
Manual trans 650+/- 25 in nuetral
Does the fast idle and timing advance work on the engine at start when cold.

i dont have any fuel leaks and also it dont seem to do it as bad when i first start it up.I dont know?I also have a auto tranny and it has a brand new injection pump.I will try the fuel additive(spell?).thanks guys.please post if you can think of anything else it could be!
