i have a 93 f-350 4x4, with a 7.3. i want to change the engine, and possibly up grade some how to a turbo engine or an engine capable of haveing a turbo kit installed on it. i have no idea where to begin.i live in va bch va, and have no contacts to halp me around here, at least not so far. please help w/ any info or sugestions. <font color="red"> </font>

ATS, (factory optioned) Gale banks or Hypermax are your three "off the shelf" choices. Waste gated or non waste gated will be your other option. Figure abot $1700 - $2500 for the kits. Used / EBay ?For Sale section here are other options. I picked up a "take off" factory ATS unit from another board memeber last July. You don't say if you have the E4OD or a hand shacker. If you are auto, you will need a trans computer or upgrade. Id di not change anything prior to installing the turbo. (Hindsight, I should have changed my return lines)
