My 92 F250 has a bench seat with split back for access to the extended cab portion. It seems the original owner was too cheap to pony up and spring for the comfy captians chairs. I really want an armrest/center console, but don't want to install buckets yet. Anyone have a lead for a really nice console that will sit on my bench seat and not interfere with my stick shift? It's gotta have cupholders and hold my MP3 player. I really don't want the $9.99 molded plastic junk they sell at Wal-Mart either...
I bought a Wolf console off ebay. It is nice, and sits perfectly on the bench. Won't get in the way of your stick shift.
I'm looking to get a 2nd, because it isn't wide enough to work for both driver and passenger. Then again, I may just put in buckets. Anyway, I haven't seen anymore come up on ebay. I paid $20, and they normally go for like $80-$90. Well made, has some cheap plastic, but the structural part is sound and solid. Nice vinyl covering too. That said, I wouldn't give $80 for one
If you can find one for a good price, it will work just fine for you.

There is a strap on the bottom that is supposed to have the seat belt go thru. But, I need to move mine when I flip the seats forward to get in the back, so it just sits on the bench. So far, it just stays put. It has a fabric bottom, and it holds to the cloth seat just fine. Vinyl seats would probably not work as well though.

Since I spilled my giant cherry-limeade from Sonic the other night, I got to spend 2 hours steam cleaning my seat and my carpet. Needless to say, the console was ordered first thing the next morning.
