I'm lucky! In Newport Washington we don't have smoke tests. Mine would probably pass one if I turned the IP pump down, but she smokes a bit right now. I turned the screw over a third of a turn and she has a lot more giddyup and go now that she smokes. The more smoke, the harder she pulls for some reason? Here in Ohio trucks need to be tested up to 10,000 GVWR. 10,001 GVWR, no test. However, anything over 10K must have commercial plates, regardless of use.
Funny, my 3/4T van is registered at 10,001. Strange how that happened??
