Re: STEERING LINKAGE???? Parts??

With steering parts you get what you pay for. Cheaper parts will wear out faster, and you will find money saved will be taken back in tire wear and labor.

Moog makes good parts, as does TRW. Make sure every joint has grease fittings, and that you buy "lifetime warranty" parts. And keep everything greased every time you change the oil.

Re: STEERING LINKAGE???? Parts??

There are some parts from the dealer, particularly ball joints, that are not greasable. If there's no grease fittings, it's "lifetime lubricated". That means that when the joint runs out of grease, its life is over....

Re: STEERING LINKAGE???? Parts??

all my joints have grease fittings on them, if thats what your trying to tell me. i mean the trucks got 170,000 miles on it, i think thats pretty good to not change any steering parts yet not even adjust the box at all.
