Stock exhaust on 7.3 IDI turbo

Does any know what the size exhaust is stock I looking to put larger exhaust system and I was going to go with a 3 1/2" system and I was told by this place that does custom exhaust that 3 1/2" is stock \. I know the Powerstroke that would be stock.

Thanks Bob

Re: Stock exhaust on 7.3 IDI turbo

Im going to leave the stock manifold on. If I do from the turbo back I would think I would have to get the new larger turbo housing.

Re: Stock exhaust on 7.3 IDI turbo

well no
if its in good condition after the turbo go 2 in original exhust and have the muffler shop do a step up to the size you want
itll give better power (more consistant)
