i got a manual on these engines well now i gotta look never thout itd b in there

I would just try and talk to a Delphi Rep and see what they have to say. I know they make injectors for these motors, so they could at least give you the specs.

I noticed JD carried Standadyne (SP?) injectors. Not sure if they made injectors for this truck or not, but you could contact them too. I would think IH made the stock injectors.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if there are some IH tractors running around with the same injectors?

87 ford f-350 cab-chassis dually. 2wd, 6.9, 3 speed C-6. 3 leaf helper springs, 11,000 gvwr, pintle/ball hitch, 6 pin round trailer connector (unhooked currently). Rear generic truck stop lights. Twin I beam front end with coil springs. Plow lights and switch to go from headlights to plow lights. 8.5 foot meyer diamond plow with central hydrolics. 8 foot rugby dump bed. 167,000 miles and still strong. Solid State Glow Plug Controller.

3 new pics i painted a valvecover and theres a hint of a color scheme coming out

green is the one color the other will be blue (block and heads)
everything else will be green

i dabbled in welding today i fabbed up a battery bracket for my buddies car and we got the thing working so now i have more engine time

ya the idi rally is usually in illinois i think but im going to try to get a east coast thing together and chuckster would do a west coast one if he could

it looks like the broken piston hit the rod at some point but theres no marks i saw on the rod? funny well im getting new pistons anyway just makes me wonder if this could have been an issue
and the weirdest part was that i did not find any metal in the oil pan at all that would tell the part broke

the machining on the crank is still there and the journals look almost new
