I am having a weird electrical problem, since I bought my truck the turn signals havent worked. The front signals work just fine but both the rears blink like the hazards are on when I signal left or right the blinking even stops like hazard flashers do when the brake is applied. Only thing I can think of is when the previous owner installed a trailer hookup he messed something up. Any advice would be appreciated.

I had the exact same thing with my truck. It turns out in the back the previous owner had for some reason connected the left and right turn signal / brake wires together.
My theory is one brake light wasn't working, so they connected the 2 together. The turn signals and brakes use the same wire and bulb element.
