Its been cold here in Michigan lately but the old girl still starts good. The other day every thing was ok had to do some running around , started and stoped a few times then when i went to start it was like bike fireing up threw the intake. I was a few blocks away from home so i just drove her back and pulled the top of the air cleaner off and it was like some one was fireing a .22 out the intake. It seems as thou a intake valve is not seeting , stuck open by way of a lifter? I didnt think there was ANY room at TDC for that. Any idea's.

Just observe the article re the head/valve operation........ woofing back into the intake is intake valve problem........ I had a broken spring which did same.......but it was exhaust so it chuffed/snapped and crackled out the exhaust.
