Re: swapping 88 motor into a 93 turbo...

I'd swap the '93 pump and injectors to the '88 motor.
Exhaust manifolds are the same.

Re: swapping 88 motor into a 93 turbo...

The 93 and 94 turbo'd motors had stronger rods and wrist pins but the older engine will handle the turbo. There are lots of us out here that have better turbos on the old motors than the stock turbo on the newer motors. Go ahead and "git 'er dun". OkieGringo

Re: swapping 88 motor into a 93 turbo...

i figured the main components of the motor would be fine since all kinds ofaftermarket turbo kits got put on the non turbo ones.
just looking for a fix, drive it for a while, the sell it for a profit. bought it with the locked motor so that way i could use the good motor i had for something other than let it sit in a pile.
