is the truck harness cut from tail lights or just the one going to the trailer plug?

you can use a test lite to find each circuit. put one of the tun signals on and probe each wire to see which wire has power, write that color wire down and proceed to the next circuit. for ex. blue wire w/ white stripe goes to? red wire? goes to? and so on. this will take a while so be patient. when you get all your wires idenified then you can prceed to connect them. this way might be better tha a wiring digram in case someone might have crossed something. if you are still having problems PM me with the wire colors and we WILL get this figured out. also the guage. i have delt with a few trucks that had to be rewired because of some nutjob that thought they 'knew' what they were doing. good luck!!

if the wh/rd stripe is only hot with lite sw then that could be your tail to trailer. do you have a 3rd brk lite? you can chk color with that and possibly match up. in the pic what color wire is the other one? are those ALL the wires? how easy is your fuse box to remove? find the right fuse and flip the box over and see if you can match OR your switch on the pedal. it might be possible to have tail and brake switched. are your running lites dim or bright? the brake is brighter than tail. disconnect your tail and tie into the wht/red st and chck and get back to me.

worse case run a new wire from front 14gauge that way you'll have xtra for trailer.
