Tip that could help when engine @ operating temp
It seems every time I go to adjust FIPL, check timing, fuel return lines etc., I've got a really nice heavy duty steel step stool, but, I have scars on my stomach from the hood latch & I've gotten a few mild burns from the radiator in the same place.
being vertically challenged & under tall for my weight I came across the idea of using a heavy duty mud flap 3/8"-1/2" thick and lay it over the radiator & that hood latch, much better.
Every time I see one on the road or by a construction site I stop and pick it up, (free is nice).
Hope this idea helps the brothers out.
