Cool in it's own way. Is there a reason for the square and not round, or just because?

If you are in college, you should know that round pipes or stacks flow gases MUCH better than square ones.

goind to a diesel college, every truck that rattles have stacks. i wanted to be different. the truck is boxy, so why not. as stated about the flow, i used to just have one single, since putting these on i gained 1mpg around town. i dont want to say it is the pipes, but made me wonder.

45 degree bevel on trailing edge of pipes should make a vacuum in the exhaust system while moving, so it should actually improve exhaust gas flow. Plus, you got to prove some naysayers wrong, I am all about that.

Re: was told it couldnt be done..... square stacks..

Those are the first stacks I have seen that I like. I usually laugh at how ridiculous stacks look on a Pickup truck. But those are done right and fit in nicely with the truck. GOOD JOB!

That is most cool. Just to add my 2 cents, find the low point in the exhaust system and drill a 1/4" hole. This is a drain because without it, rain will fill your exhaust, and when you fire is up, water droplets full of soot will land all over your cab. Word to the wise. Excellent fab job!

Sweet, looks nice, and you shouldn't lose too much flow there.

If you wanted to figure it out, use hydraulic diameter,

not really to worried about that. for one i cant have ANY leaks in the exhaust. wont pass inspection.and actualy not mush gets on the cab. i can see it all on the wood on my flatbed.
