tps voltage

I have read all the post on tps voltage and how its set at 1.1 to 3.8 volts and then sent to the trans.

My trouble is i have to much voltage coming into the tps = 10.8 volts.
All the pins on the tps plug give me 10.8 volts. Not sure where the power comes from to feed the tps. Had c6 in for about 2 years and now put e4od back in after rebuild for better mpg.

Tranny is in complete shutdown except for first and reverse

A simple mistake that I made was reading AC and not DC current. When I did that I had similiar readings. Not trying to insult you but it took me awhile to realize my E4OD issue was me.......

Jeep
Just got back to working on trans today.
Nope it would nice if i did read a/c and not d/c,but on all tree wires i get over 10 volts d/c. According to my book all three wires 351-355-359 come from the PCM
Orange/White wire # 351-Sensor Signal Feed-10.79 volts
Dk Green/Lt Green wire # 355-Throttle Angle Position Sensor Feed-10.15 volts
Black/White wire # 359-Sensor Signal Return-10.86 volts.
Can not get wire #355 at 1.1 to 3.8 volts with 10.1 coming from some where else.
If any body has any ideas i would greatly appreciate

The wires/connector is hooked to the FIPL............. what color is the FIPL.

Where are you placing the ground wire of the meter......it must be on the battery negative.
