I have the "conductor's special" from hornblasters.com

It included a 5 gal tank, Viair pump and all the tubing and valves. Claim is 154 Db. and I can say that they are close to that. Last time we were out in the country I made sure the tank was full and then counted how long I got FULL volume- 11 seconds long.

They are FUN but you have to use some better jugement as to when to do them. Mine are all in a cage and pointing towards the ground. I did blast them in a tunnel in NYC just before the GW bridge and it woke every body up

We blasted a couple of guys in Laughlin NV, and one jumped about 3 feet and the other one Hit the deck, we allmost wrecked the truck from laughing so hard.

I forgot about that, but yeah he did have the normal reaction

Once again I would like to publicly say that it was a pleasure to meet you. You reminded me of when I got the new tires in Collinsville, the guys that installed the tires saw them but didn't know where the switch was. I let the mechanic light 'em up and it scared him so much that they were only on for a 1/2 second. He did them again and the owner of the shop said "holy s&*^ those are loud"

Our Marketing guy has Hornblasters Shocker 4's on his truck currently and is in the process of installing a Nathan AirChime K5LA. And I wouldnt have stared at him for so long had he not told me that he does not intend to remove the first set. It should be interesting (except for the posting bail possibility--------lol)

The 5 gallon kit is awesome!

My friends run Hornblasters.com.

The Shocker horns have a lifetime warranty and are made in the USA.

They usually give pretty good prices to forum members.

That's what I intend on doing. I want to add the nathan P3 or K5LA to the other side of the truck, and put another switch in so I can do 1 or the other or BOTH AT THE SAME TIME

So I should mention you and this site when I get ready for the other horns?

Here are my new trumpets vs. my old ones. You really do need to be careful who you blast with the horns because they could lose control and run under your truck..

i have a friend whose dad worked on the rail road for 30 yrs and he is giving me brand new k5 i believe he said but we'll see next wed. when it arrives. i have question, would a tank from a garage air compressor just need a converter to work or just buy a compressor built for a truck? also 200 psi is the only way to go right?

With an actual Airchime, it is recommended to run at least a 5 gallon air tank. They take alot of CFM.

The K5 is the LOUDEST horn you can buy. Unbelievable.
