what the heck are you talking about. it doesn't matter what the locomotives use the horns are rated for more. thats just what they use. also i can run large impact and air ratchet of my set up.

Train Horns & Train Horn Kits: Loudest Horns Available

Where I got my set up...Watch the videos, but don't have a drink in your hand cause you'll spill it while your laughing. I have lots of stories. Even had a train conductor "talk" back to me

What he is trying to say. Is the Main air supply is with in those specs. Yes a horn can handle up to 150 psi, For a while but you keep giving it anything higher you will ruin the diaphragms. Then the horn will squeal like raped cow. And EMD driver is right on the money. Not telling you what to do with you set up. Just letting you know of the possible damage that can be caused. I have been collecting and restoring train horns for the last 15 years. Way before it was in vouge to have them.

Good Luck,

John

I just purchased my Nathan Airchime (early 1980's versions)K5LA train horns and if anybody has or knows of good pics of a install on a 1999-2004 F250 crew cab then that would be cool! I can't wait to to blow them when passing someone while they are texting while they're driving!!
