transmission noise after complete rebuild

I had my transmission completely rebuilt...after the rebuild it started making this nasty grinding noise. i had them tear it down and check the whole thing out...they couldn't find anything wrong. it does it the most when putting it in neutral and coasting. does anyone have any clue as to what it MIGHT be? tranfer case? a bearing somewhere? thanks-nick

what kind of clutch are you running? the stock dual mass or a after market single mass flywheel?

Did they or you change the pilot bearing in the crankshaft. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
