turbo project

Alright people. I know that the turbo question has been beat to death, but I need your help.

I am looking at buying the hypermax system. I'm wondering if you know where I can buy this system? I live in Spokane Washington and there is nowhere local that sells this system.

Any thoughts about buying online.

Where did you all get yours?

Thanks ahead of time,

Re: turbo project

Wow, it's a small world. I'm from Newport (Diamond Lake area actually) .

I'm thinking that Terry's Truck Center (Phone number 534-0609) might sell them, but I'm not sure.

Also try Motor Works/QEK (535-2003) Ask for Steve there, and don't bother talking to Carman.

I know that Basin Diesel Service (509-764-9130) in Moses Lake sells Banks Turbos at really good prices (not sure if they sell Hypermax or not though). Ask for Steve Pryor and make sure you tell him that Brett Bretthauer (pronounced Brett Bretthower) reffered you! I am friends with Steve through kart racing.

Re: turbo project

thanks Brett. Diamond Lake is not that far. Good to know that there are a few BOOBs around here.

I'll check out those contacts that you mentioned.

Thanks again.

Re: turbo project

Jon,
I got my unit through Huff. Great guy to deal with, unit was drop-shipped to my door. You'll also get better support from Huff during the install (I just started mine). I'd rather do business with "BOOB" guys from TDS if possible. JMHO...

Re: turbo project

Will do John- takin' care of the Honey-do list tonight, planning on spending the weekend in the garage. Waiting for my IP to come back from Ken so I can only do so much. Things like the exhaust, hole in rocker arm cover, re-route GP wiring, oil-pressure sender, stuff like that. That ought put a pretty good dent my beer supply . I'm glad this ain't my daily driver- no pressure and do it right!
