Update on ticking- please qucik help!!

recap- I had a slight ticking coming from the passenger side valve cover. slowly turned into chuffing at the exaust.
today- I pulled the passenger valve cover off and wiggled things around. the second rocker arm from the from the front wiggled side to side ever so slightly. The other arms did not move at all.

after removal of the assembly and cleaning, I noticed that the seat for the pushrod was overly worn (second rocker arm) compard to the other side ( front rocker arm).

a few questions- is it likely that this is what was causing the ticking noise.

could it also be the culprit for the slight chuffing?

thanks so much for any help. my truck is now inop so I need to get parts quick.

With the rockers OFF, try pushing down on the valve stem 1/4" and wiggle it side to side.

Chuffing out the exhaust could be just a broken valve spring causing weak pressure on closing, it was on mine.
