Vibration and leak

Hey guys, a question for you all. I was driving down the highway when a slight vibration i have been feeling for a couple of weeks, got very rough. So i naturally pulled over, i looked under the truck and there was fluid coming from the rear output shaft of the t-case. Any thoughts? Think the case is junk? or could an out of whack u-joint cause a vibration that could allow the rear seal on the t-case leak? just want to hear opinions thanks. Re: Vibration and leak

your probably right there somewhere, check out your u-joints, i don't know if you can change the seal without taking the tc apart, probably don't have to. Atleast see if you can move the output shaft around.

Re: Vibration and leak

Do not go cheap on this one, I tried and lost.
Go to a clutch and u-joint specialty shop.
Balanced, new parts, under $200
