Hi all...does someone make a kit, or do I have to search around for Viton fuel lines and o-rings. Have to change mine over so I can run bio. My truck is too expensive to run with dino. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you check over at the alternate fuels forum....... Bio BUBBA's congregate over there with many answers.

McMaster-Carr has Viton tubing and O-rings and you can shop by dimensions. The viton hose doesn't look to be too cheap, but I know their O-rings are very affordable. I bought a 25 pack of the O-rings that fit the injector return line caps in case I ever wanted to run bio in mine. McMaster-Carr

I want to change them out so I can run bio. Diesel is over $4.00, and I found a place here in Jersey that has it for under $3.00. Just too much $$$ to run dino. I feel sorry for these OTR truckers--like $800. a fill.

Here is some info I saved from a guy in Alaska.......
So far my research (that means looking at one that I took off and measuring it against the supply house stock) the injector orings for my 7.3 are a -111 (7/16 ID /x 5/8 OD X 3/32 long).
The ones I have put on are a viton compound. They seem to be too hard for the temperatures here. When they sit all night, one develops an air leak. I am going to replace them with a nitrile compound tonight. Good thing about knowing the engineering description (dash number) is that you can buy them from a bearing/oring supply house in several compounds for 1/6th the price of the Ford products. Same o'ring, just no overhead.

Thanks Pete. I have to do somethingwith my truck; it runs too good, and I have so much time into it. Thanks for the sizes. Mcmaster.com has all the o-rings and tubing. PS---picked up a '90 MB 300D turbo diesel. Great mileage,(32mpg hiway) great car!
