viton return lines? - Diesel Forum

I'm about to replace my return lines, and I'm going to start running bio-diesel in my truck. Does anyone make/do I need biodiesel compatible return lines? I've heard of replacing the lines to the lift pump w/ viton hose, but no mention of the return lines.

i heard those are the ones on the new trucks and they do work on biodiesel, good idea if you plan to start using it. they might help you better on the biodiesel forum

Seems to me that you would need to replace them as well because the same fuel that flows thru the supply will flow thru the return (or at least a portion of it). But as stated you might want to ask on the Bio forum. Also talk with JDKline as he is running homebrewed fuels so he would have first hand knowledge for the IDI's.
