Wait to start light

I have a 1993 Ford E350 and whenever I turn the key on the Wait to start light is on for less then a second and for it to start i have to turn the ignition on and off 4 or 5 times?

Re: Wait to start light

Sounds like you have some glow-plugs burned out or bad wiring.

Re: Wait to start light

You more than likely have one or more glow plugs that are bad, or a glow plug controller. Probably glow plugs though, make sure when (if) you replace them you use Beru plugs and not autolite or anything else.--Jon
