Re: Wastegate Adjusting?????????????

You can adjust the wastegate by making the WG longer, just turb the little turnbuckle out and it will make it longer and kick in faster. If I were you, I would try to adjust your gate with your foot. If you really don't like to watch the guages, go ahead, but you are missing out on all that cool air your intercooler is providing. You have a sweet set up with the intercooler, you should be shooting for 15psi to take adavantage of the cooler. But 12psi is safe. Sorry, I have to hold back, I realize not everyone wants to make the trucks run at max power.. Sorry, yeah, back it down and you will alot of happy care free miles. Scotty

There are two dimples on the part that is treaded onto the rod. These are stake marks to set the length. Take a drill bit a little larger than the marks and drill them until you reach the threads. This will unlock the the setup. Get a 1/4-28 nut to lock the unit in place and adjust away.

Re: Wastegate Adjusting?????????????

Ok I am like you i want the most power. But i also dont want to be pikcing up pieces on the side of the road if im going to be spraying NOS. I mean if it comes down to it i can just back off the throttle just a hiar and control ir depending on all the readings on the gauges. Well, Im going to install the Holle red top for fuel purpose since i turned it up (if it needs it yet) then im going to finish the install of the NOS system and i will let yall know how everything is going and wether or not i need to get that address for ken who sells hea studs(hehehehee),
again thanks ....TTYL

Re: Wastegate Adjusting?????????????

The hardest part about having all the power is not abusing the engine. As long as you are driving sanely and not punishing the truck, day in and day out, your truck should hold 15psi pretty easy. Just use the guages, that is what they are there for. Drive by your pyro and boost guage and you will be fine. Scotty
