Water Injection

I was on the DPS site and looking at stuff. How does water/alcohol injection work, as far as making a difference? Anybody else have this installed? How about the Banks Stinger exhaust? does it sound good? Thanks

Re: Water Injection

I have neither, but I've read my share...

The water injection does help power-wise, but is more for trailers and stuff to keep egt's down lower. Propane may be a better option, which can also lower EGT's if used right.

As far as the exhaust, If you still have the stock system, anything will be better than that. The stock downpipe is a huge POS. The stinger system will be very good on the EGT's, dropping them at least 100. Also, You might consider not using the muffler it comes with, even though it is suppposed to be a "high flow" muffler, nothing is as high flow as a muffler-delete. I don't run anything but an ATS downpipe actually... Tried putting on a 3" straight pipe, EGT's jumped another 100... Took it off.

This is cool----> ♣="╛┐∞3& amp;#9488;╕∙s█ħ&am p;#9562;{░ WOW, I'm entertained...

Re: Water Injection

Water injection is more for truck pullin than anything , it does make more power but mainly used to keep the heat down.
