WHAT IS THIS FOR??

I just replace both my batteries to-night, needed them badly. When i changed the left side battery i noticed there is a plug coming from the negitive battery cable that is un plugged. The plug that it should be plugged into is running off the harness from the rad support. Any idea what this is for and why it would be un plugged.

, obviously a ground for something. Connect it and see what NOW works that didn't before. Baja

Re: WHAT IS THIS FOR??

It is a ground that connects to a stud, in front of the battery, on the radiator support. There should be two other wires, coming out of the harness that bolt to the same location. Tim

I'll take a shot at the puzzle with a bit more info, color codes or something that may let me find it in my 1991 wiring diagrams........
