where can I get injector return kit in BC, Canada?

I have one injector cap leaking like crazy and also sucking in air, so I got a bunch of o-rings and figured I can just replace the o-rings. The previous owner told me he replaced the return kit 1 year before he sold the truck to me, I bought the truck two years ago.

In the process of taking the leaky return cap off, the neighboring cap broke off from the hose clamp, with the broken part still clamped inside the hose. Oh well, turned out they became brittle after 3 years. After inspecting the offending o-rings, found out one has pretty bad torn mark on it.

Now I have no transportation, on a Sunday afternoon. Called local Lordco, for $150 a set, they don't have any in stock. Canadian Tire didn't even carry them. Other fuel injector service places mostly closed.

Now, my question is: Anyone on this board know any place I can get a return kit? I'd prefer they ship, but not from U.S. Eveytime I buy something from down south, I was charged around $20 for boarder clearance. And I need it fast, as I'd like to drive the truck to work as soon as it's done.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Norm,

You could also try International truck service/dealers. There is one not too far from you Covan in Coquitlam. They will sell the parts needed.
Also DAS in Maple Ridge should have what you need.

Thanks for the info, I called around and ended up getting the return kit from Ford dealer which is within 20 minutes walking distance, not too bad for $50CDN. Put two caps on and also a small and skinny o-ring between the cap and the nut, hope it'll stay tight for a long time.

When you change one cap and orings you should change all of them.... Any CDN Stanadyne dealer will also have the Return line Kits.

I understand the logic of changing all caps and orings at the same time, makes perfect sense. In my situation, I believe I may need new IP and/or injectors soon. It's just in my nature to try put it off as much as I can. So far, other caps haven't leak on me yet...
