Did any of you guys buy your ijection pumps on line or did you use local shops. I remember some guys posting a link to a company in Texas who was selling rebuilds.
Thanks Marc

I use a local shop. But here you go for the place in TX: Diesel Injection Service
Another suggestion, check with your local I/H truck dealer, heavy equipment dealer, or farm tractor dealer and ask the service manager who he recommends to rebuild pumps.
It's funny but I asked the guy at NAPA right down the street and he had a pump set up for high altitude on the shelf. It was $10 more than I could have gotten it on the web WITHOUT the freight added. The NAPA we have still has one old guy who knows his stuff, after he goes it will be tough dealing with the others. Good luck.

he is a PITA to get ahold of but once you do things go smoothly.Best bet to ever get in touch is phone calls after phone calls after phone calls.I know first time I tried to get in touch with him it took me about a month of listening to his answering machine but I finally got him on the 2 way.I know what you mean though,He should be easier to get ahold but he is a small operation. This ain't Banks or MWFI wer are talking about.Pretty much a Hobby run business. He does it for the fun mainly.

Yes I've heard from other people that he is hard to get ahold of, but I am not going to spend hours on the phone from Canada with no 1-800 # with only a "chance" of actually catching him. I suspect he could make more than a "hobby" of it with a little customer service. Just my 2 cents.

I use his buisness a lot, and believe me it is more than a "Hobby" for him, It is more than a full time job.
I have a diesel repair shop about 2 miles from my car lot, but will drive 25 minutes out to Saranac, MI from Grand Rapids, to have Ken do all of my Diesel work. Everytime I call I get him, or an answer from him within 5 minutes.
I will give him a call tomorrow and let him know that you have been trying to get ahold of him and see what I can do.
Later,
