I am gettin very fustraed with my door chime. i hate that sound! i cant find the chime anywhere. where si located or what wires do i need to cut?.........Gibson

I don't know where the little "dingling" bastard is either, BUT if you remeove the plunger swich on the drivers side (down in the bottom corner of the body), you'll find 3 wires....one is either ground or 12V...one is the interior light.... the other will be the chain for the racket maker!
i ripped mine out too...just dont forget to turn your headlights off since you wont be getting a reminder anymore [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] (did it once or twice)
I was able to disable the chime, with "Lights On" being the exception.
Do not follow my directions, as I can not remember (CRS), but I removed the lower half of the steering column, located and snipped the correct wire. I recall blue.
