Will this booster work

I know it's for a mustang, but I didn't know if it's the same hydrobooster used in the F-450. Just wondering if it would work in my truck.

96 97 98 MUSTANG GT 4.6 L HYDROBOOST MASTER HYDRABOOST:eBay Motors (item 110421583753 end time Nov-03-09 17:44:04 PST)

Thanks.

I think MLCS has done the conversion too, but with a GM hydro boost.

Hopefully someone will chime in, the listing is ending soon. It looks identical to the F-450 hydro boost, but I'm not sure if it's the same or not.

You'll have to re-clock the mounting plate (turn it 90 degrees in any direction), as if you bolt it up as it is now your master cylinder will sit sideways. Also the pressure lines seem quite odd, I'm not sure how you can adapt the F450 hoses to these lines, or if you can use Mustang hoses instead... Also the bolt pattern of the mounting plate and the length of the pushrod may be of concern... I'd say too many unknowns in this, keep looking for an F-Superduty booster.

Ya you're probably right. I might check and see if I can find part numbers to verify they are different.

I've found a few super-duty boosters, but not as cheap as this one.

Thanks guys.
