Take a clean shop rag and soak it in gas. Cover your intake with the rag, have someone else crank the truck while you hold the rag over the intake. Has never failed me yet, in fact that is how I get some of the equipment at work runnin if they run out of fuel.

How full is the tank selected......make sure it is over 1/3 full...... remember the fuel pickups break off at 1/4 full and cause stalling/surging and no start.

Mine did this and I first blead it at the schrader valve at the fuel filter by cranking about 15 seconds and having a friend hold the valve open until I got only fuel. Then I took a 5/8" wrench and cracked open all the injector lines just above the injectors until I got fuel squirting out of there. Then it still took plenty of cranking doing the recommended 30 seconds then letting it sit to cool off the started then do it again and repeat until it starts.

Obsolutely Calvin. Dude, you've got air all over your fuel system. Gotta bleed that out. If you had an electric fuel pump.....it'd take just a minute.......without one......you'll need a friend to crank and crank and crank the motor as you bleed the fuel system as Calvin states above.
Won't hurt to try the "shop rag trick" but I've never tried it.........but will keep it in mind.
