I have found a 99 F-250 4X4 with 106,000 miles it has been turned on its top. I was wondering if I could find a cab and bed cheap enough to come out? I can get the rolling chasis for $5,000. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img] [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I'm not sure how much that truck would be worth whole, or how much the parts would be. Remember to add in your considerable labor.

Also, the truck will be a salvage truck and will need to be inspected before it can be titled. And it will always have a "rebuilt salvage" brand on the title and you may have problems getting insurance.

Just remember that crashed trucks can bring un-expected troubles. Twisted frames and more. $5,000 sounds a but too high considering you can buy a complete truck for less than twice that.
