Yet another GPC issue and misc other stuff
Good Morning Folks,
Rich the newbie to diesels here. Have read and learned a great deal from here in the last month or so. Many thanks to all those who have do the work so that the rest of us could learn.
Changed glow plugs about a month ago. Was doing real good up to about last Thurs. when truck got real hard to start. Turned out to have a problem with the relay on top of the GPC. Changed that but didn't solve the problem. I saw a member here offer a test procedure that would be sent directly. If I could get a copy also, please.
Then I would be able to tell if it was the GPC or air in the lines from the leaky caps on the injectors. I know I need to fix that. I'm thinking that I need to do the injectors as well, given the mileage. Any recommendations as to brand and best place to buy them? Many thanks.
