I have an 85 F250 6.9 and the Cab is completely shot, I took everything off the frame, all thats left is the fuel tanks and the motor, The remains of the cab are on my pick-up to take to the scrap yard. I have been trying to find a legable copy of a wiring diagram on the site with no luck, So here is a quick question, hopefully someone can help.... I cut the wires at the firewall both sides, I still have the GP solinoids etc. attached to the motor laying on top of the frt tire. DO I NEED ANYTHING FROM INSIDE / UNDER THE DASH, are there any type of controllers, "brains", modules, that are needed to run this motor, I am thinking of going with a much older style cab 1967-70 and once the diesel cab is gone--- it is gone---- Please help with this issue before I throw something I may need in the scrap yard.
thanks
Jesse
You need to keep the diesel instrument cluster if you want to still have a tachometer, and I'd keep the small module that houses the diesel specific indicator lights (glow plug, water in fuel, engine temp). There are no other controls or anything for the engine or trans.

I can see the usefulness of a diesel version, but a different version for each accessory?
That makes for a lot of versions.

Thanks but is there some trick to print them, when I print them they are blurry and hardly readable, This is the same problem I had with others and I have tried different printers too.
any advice on printing them,,,, (I feel like a fool I can't even print something)
Joe, I just wanted my personal set to have only the stuff my truck had. It was so easy that i could make one for poorboy too.
Poorboy, what i did was used the windows viewer to open it then clicked the "print" button to print it.
I'm going to have to redo one of the diagrams cause i stupidly cleared the generator off...need to put it back for my rewire...
Stand by...
EDIT: Let's try it this time...
EDIT: Just click on the pics below, let it load then click again to make it big then right click>save as (or save image as for firefox). After i got it saved I just right click on the pic i want to print and click "print". I just tested all of what i said and it works for me...
