Part numbers are different, the 460 mounts have the same number for both sides, the 7.3 of the same year have 2 different numbers for each side, so my guess would be that there is something different. The way the mounts hook up to the frame are totally different, the 460 has towers bolted/riveted to the back side of the frame cross, the diesel mounts go through the oval of the cross, and have plates bolted onto the top of the cross.
